Zeynep studied financial economics and photography at the University of Virginia. After receiving her B.A., she studied communications design and received her M.S. at the Pratt Institute in New York. She apprenticed under some legendary brand identity designers such as Ivan Chermayeff and Tom Geismar (creators of iconic brand logos like Chase Bank and Mobil), Stef Geissbuhler and Emanuela Frigerio of CG Partners, Steven Gan of Visionaire.

In 2003 Zeynep returned to Istanbul and founded Zeo, which became one of the hottest design houses in Turkey in a few short years. She took on high profile projects, creating identities for:

  • Kayra wine family, which went on to become the number one wine label in Turkey
  • Turkish Football Federation Super Cup Championship
  • King’s Academy in Jordan, which was founded by H.M. King Abdullah II

  • Life brought her back to New York in 2007, where she lives with her husband Evren, and children Aslan and Leyla.
